We had the opportunity to attend the temple twice this week!   The temple is so beautiful and offers a sense of heavenly peace.   It truly is the House of the Lord. Thursday evening we joined 2 other senior missionary couples and their company in an endowment session.   Friday morning, we met in the temple with the mission president and his wife, and missionaries who have served diligently and are now preparing to return home.   We love and appreciated their efforts in sharing the message of the restoration of His gospel.   One of the Mission Office couples spent an overnight with us due to illness.   Their apartment is on the 3 rd floor but ours is on the ground level.   The MD advised no stairs and we were happy to offer them someplace easy to access.   At the office we have become like a family interested in and supporting each other, rejoicing in happiness and sharing each other’s burdens.     Sister Faulk and the ...

Over Easter weekend, we enjoyed listening to the semi-annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.   We felt edified and lifted by each speaker.   We sustain President Russel M Nelson as our new prophet.   We look forward to reading the May 2018 edition of the Ensign, to feast upon His words and to be spiritually guided for this is His church! Easter morning, the Sister missionaries from our ward came over for brunch.   Elder Faulk made waffles!    Later in the week, Elder Faulk was set apart as a veil worker in the Orlando Temple.   This is in addition to his daily mission office duties (finance).   The Orlando temple is smaller and not as busy as temples along the Wasatch Front (Utah).   Elder Faulk will be able to help the missionaries with endowment work. While in the temple, under the direction of President Munns, (temple president) we had the opportunity to watch a few short videos from the...

Happy Easter everyone!   We are so blessed to think of Christ, speak of Christ, learn from Him, and feel His love.   We are grateful for His restored gospel and to be members of His true church. We were thrilled and grateful to learn surgery for Camee and baby Cedar went well.   We look forward to her birth and can’t wait to meet her.   Although she already has some challenges in her life, we know Heavenly Father is keenly aware of her and her family.     This week we had the opportunity to participate in Zone Conferences.   Tuesday we held conference for the southern half of the mission and Thursday we traveled north for the other half.   The conferences lasted most of the day and consisted of general audience meetings and breakout   sessions.   Assigned by the mission president, Sister Faulk spoke about health:   dehydration and mosquito bites (2 preventable problems).   Local wards provided great lunches. ...
