Week 38: October 28-November 3, 2018

Our hearts are full of love for Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Florida Orlando missionaries and our family.   We feel His love and see His hand in the mission.   We pray we may help others come unto Christ and feel His divine love too. Sister Faulk lead the way organizing lunch for 100 at the Wetherbee Zone Conference.   We made and served soup, salad, garlic bread, pumpkin pie, and raspberry lemonade.   It was a notable effort and could not have been accomplished without teamwork.   Sister Faulk coordinated flu vaccines for the missionaries through local Walmart pharmacists.   Elder Faulk made sure the pharmacists received a Book of Mormon.     Cooks in the kitchen:  Sisters Faulk, Mantyla, Kroeger, Ekenstam, Gould, and Taylor: Lake Mary Zone Conference: We were sad to send a few missionaries home this week for medical reasons but happy they will be able to receive the care they need.   Sister Faulk quickly...

Week 37: October 21-27, 2018

Sunday evening, our friends and fellow missionaries, Susan and Craig, had a dinner party on their lanai.   All their neighbors were invited.   They wanted the neighbors to get to know each other better.   What better way to do that than with a casual delicious grilled dinner?   Sister Faulk helped with the food preparations.   Dinner party at Susan and Craig's: Early in the week we were in Daytona Beach for more missionary medical appointments.   An elder needed to see an MD but had a difficult time getting an appointment with any clinicians in the area.   Sister Faulk asked him to pray about it which he did and shortly thereafter he was able to schedule an appointment.   At the doctor’s office, Sister Faulk noticed an arrhythmia in the missionary and mentioned it to the MD.   He noticed it too and ordered a consult with his cardiologist for the missionary.   Later in the week we took another Elder to a medical appo...
