Week 101: January 12-18, 2020

We said farewell to missionary friends and hello to new ones straight from the MTC in Provo.  The cycle of mission life is ever changing.  It prepares us to be flexible, hold fast to important gospel truths, and gives us opportunities to serve and lift others.  We have appreciated the Walker’s and the enlightenment they bring to the mission.
Sisters Walker and Faulk:

We had 2 dinners at the mission home this week with missionaries.  Sister Ashcraft is so gracious and uplifting.  President Ashcraft makes everyone feel welcome and important.  Never do they seem rushed and always take time to listen.

We took corn chowder soup, salad, and pineapple dessert to a recently widowed sister in the ward.  She was grateful to be remembered and expressed her thoughts and feelings.   She and her husband served a mission as Seniors in rugged Costa Rica.

The vehicle coordinator received the final car for 2020.  He asked Sister Faulk to drive it off the lot which she happily did.  The missionaries are truly blessed to drive new gas efficient vehicles loaded with safety technology.
Fresh off the lot:

Our new house is coming along.  It takes a while to figure things out and get everything in order.   On the daily commute to the mission office we listen to the Book of Mormon audio.  It gives us something to think and talk about.  We are blessed to have gospel truths in our lives and the opportunity to practice them.  We love serving Him.
