Week 91: November 3-9, 2019

Sister Faulk’s mother, Agnes Morgan, came to visit for a week.  Sunday Grandma went to church and met many new friends and made more throughout the week. Elders Gregoire and Duarte, and dear friends, Stephanie and Diego Menenghetti, had dinner (clam chowder) with us.  Afterward, the missionaries shared the Church’s new Nativity video.  It was very moving/powerful.  Grandma accompanied the Florida Orlando Mission on Monday and Tuesday as we drove new RAV4s off the lot.   We enjoyed an outdoor leisurely lunch of seafood Tuesday afternoon.   Wednesday, Susan Puls and her husband, Craig, treated us to lunch in the Villages and a boat ride on the lake.  Thursday was a perfect day to relax at Cocoa Beach then enjoy dinner at Panda Express.

Grandma came with us as we took a drive to see a house for sale one afternoon.  Within 3 days we made an offer that was accepted.  Everything fell into place rapidly and the owners said they consider us friends rather than visitors.  The home is well cared for and we are excited to move in and complete our mission.  We plan on spending our winters in FL and sharing our delight in the Gospel with new neighbors.

We love the opportunity to serve a mission.  It has become our way of life as we live and think even more about Jesus Christ and his love for us.  We are blessed by the restored Gospel and seek to become one in unity.  We know families can be together forever through temple ordinances.  We are very grateful for our mothers and all they have taught us.
