Week 49: January 13-19, 2019

Behold a royal army!  We held Zone Conferences this week.  All the missionaries were inspired to improve their missionary work through personal progress, contact, and communication skills. Learning is a lifelong process. This is the Lords work and we are here as missionaries to help it go forth!

Sisters McGreggor, Faulk, and Bair:

After Zone Conference we discovered our car had a flat tire. Elder Kroger put aside his schedule to help Elder Faulk get it fixed. Such is the love one for another within the mission.

One evening we attended Dr Naughtin’s open house for one of his 4 office locations. He is a local LDS MD and frequently helps our missionaries.  We are so blessed by his service.

The Senior missionaries went to Blue Springs State Park to see wild Manatees. Blue Springs is about an hour from our apartment. The Springs have a year round constant temperature of 72 degrees and the manatees come during the cooler winter mornings to warm up. The Springs flow into the St Johns River. The St Johns River flows north by gravity to Jacksonville, FL then east to the Atlantic Ocean.  We saw many manatees, fish, turtles, birds, and alligators. There is so much diversity among His creations and the cycle of life. It is very clear life did not just happen but was planned.  We are blessed to live on earth at this time during the rapid growth of knowledge and recognize the Lord’s hand in all good things.
