Week 19: June 17-23, 2018

Happy Father’s Day Elder Faulk!  We celebrated Father’s Day with friends.  Sister Puls made a delicious pork chop dinner.  There was hardly any room for dessert!  We appreciate our fathers for their love of family and for their example of hard work.  We love and remember them and know they are not idle in paradise.

Happy Father's Day to Elder Faulk:

This week was Zone Conference time again.  President Clark read the following, “We have one more day in His service, one more day to tell His story, one more day to set a goal, one more day to help a neighbor, one more day to listen, one more day lift a burden, one more day to exercise your faith, one more day to give a gift, one more day to devote to the Lord, one more day to help save a brother, one more day to bring light to the world, one more day to bring hope to this nation, one more day to do the Father’s will. How will you choose to spend this day, this week, this transfer? This is your time to freely give to the Lord.”

Senior Sister missionaries making lunch for Zone Conference:  Gould, Mantyla, Lorenz, Faulk, and Kroeger:

Friday night we attended the temple for ward temple night.  We did initiatory work for ancestors.  It is such a blessing to have a temple in the area and to attend it regularly!  Through temple work, prophecy is fulfilled as the heart of the fathers is turned toward the children and the heart of the children to the fathers.  We always leave the temple with refreshed, calm, peaceful feelings, and a prayer in our heart for our family.

Elders Cachoeira and Rocha and our neighbors Diego and Stephanie learning about the Orlando temple:

Sunday evening we were blessed to have Elders Cashoiera and Rocha, and Diego and Stephanie over for dinner. We felt the Spirit that evening.
